કાઠી ક્ષત્રિય 

સૂર્યવંશની 44 મી પેઢી એ મહારાજ કર્નશ્રુત થયા તેમને યાદવ ક્ષત્રિય રાજપુત વંશ ની અરણી રાણી ની કુખે થી નાભાગ અને કઠ નામ ના બે રાજકુમાર જન્મ્યા રાજકુમાર કઠ ના નામ થી કાઠીઓ થયા. 

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર જૂના કાળે કાઠિયાવાડ તરીકે ઓળખાતું હતું આ ઓળખ પાછળ ત્યાં ના કાઠી દરબારો હતા કાઠી ઓ નું મૂળ વતન પંજાબ હોવા નું માનવા મા આવે છે સિકંદર ની ભારત ઉપર ની ચડાઈ પછી તેઓ ફરતા રહ્યા અને ઈરાન, બલુચિસ્તાન, સિંધ, પંજાબ, મળવા, જાલોર, અને મુલતાન થઈ  ને જેસલમેર, આબુ અને ત્યાં થી કચ્છ આવી ને વસ્યા અને 11 થી 14 મી સદી મા સિંધ માંથી કચ્છ થી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર આવી ને વસ્યા  ત્યાં નો ઘણો પ્રદેશ જીતી લીધો હતો. 

કાઠી ઓ એ  ઈરાન, બલુચિસ્તાન, સિંધ, પંજાબ, કચ્છ રાજસ્થાન, અને સૌરાષ્ટ્ર મા રાજ કર્યુ હતું. 

કાઠી ક્ષત્રિય  મા અને ગરાસિયા ક્ષત્રિય મા પેલા ના સમય મા લગ્ન વહેવાર થતો હતો કાઠી ની જાજી શાખા ઓ ગરાસિયા માંથી જ છે જેમ કે રાઠોડ માંથી ધાંધલ જેઠવામાં માંથી વરુ અને વાંક, વાઢેર માંથી ગીડા,ચૌહાણ માંથી જળુ,  ઝાલા માંથી ખવડ, પરમાર માંથી જેબલીયા, આવી અનેક શાખા ઓ કાઠી મા છે

 Kathi Kshatriya

 The 44th generation of the Surya dynasty became Maharaj Karnashruta. Two princes named Nabhag and Kath were born to him from Arani Rani of Yadav Kshatriya Rajput dynasty and became Kathi by the name of prince Kath.

 Saurashtra was known as Kathiawar in olden days. Behind this identity there were Kathi courts. The original homeland of Kathi is believed to be Punjab.  And Multan came to Jaisalmer, Abu and from there Kutch came and settled and in 11th to 14th century from Sindh came Kutch to Saurashtra and conquered a lot of territory there.

 The Kathis ruled Iran, Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Kutch, Rajasthan, and Saurashtra.
