🇮🇳 Heppy republic day 🇮🇳
This is the reason for celebrating 26 January, India got independence on 15 August 1947, while on 26 January 1950, India became a democratic country after the constitution came into force. After the implementation of the constitution, the already existing British law Government of India Act (1935) was replaced as the document of Indian governance through the Indian Constitution. That is why every year we Indians celebrate 26 January as Republic Day. According to an article published in "The Wire", India became a republic nation on 26 January 1950 at 10.18 am. Exactly 6 minutes after that, at 10:24, Dr. Rajendra Prasad took oath as the first President of India. On this day for the first time Dr. Rajendra Prasad came out of Rashtrapati Bhavan sitting on a wagon as President, where he took the salute of the army for the first time and was given the Guard of Honor for the first time.
On this day we Indians hoist the tricolor, recite the national anthem as well as organize shows and programs in many places like street squares, schools, colleges. In addition , defense forces including the Indian Army , Navy , Air Force , police and paramilitary forces display their prowess , valor and strength and display India 's defense prowess in parades on the Rajpath . Which is broadcast live on television. Apart from performing stunts, air shows, stunts on motorbikes, tanks and other weapons are also shown to the Indian public. Along with these are beautifully decorated tableaux depicting the characteristic beauty and cultural traditions of different states of India.
